Spiritual Capital of Tibet

Lhasa is the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region and one of the highest inhabited places in the world. The city is considered one of the holiest places in Buddhism and is especially famous for the Potala Palace.

• Barkhor Street: Located around the Jokhang Temple, this street is popular for those who want to shop and get to know Tibetan culture better.

• Sera Monastery: This monastery, where Buddhist monks are trained, is an important center for religious ceremonies and discussions.
